Mountains, lakes and forests provide the stunning backdrop to this popular event in Mid Wales. The Vyrnwy Trip is suitable for all driving abilities and is an opportunity for everyone to put their Jeep through its paces, regardless of whether you have driven your Jeep off-road before.
The event officially starts with a friendly welcome late on Friday. Our Jeep crew will then change the wheels and tyres of your car to ensure maximum performance in the off road situations. Supper on Friday gives you a chance to relax and get to know everyone before embarking on a full day of events on Saturday.
The programme begins with an introduction to off-road driving and 4x4 driving techniques. Following the briefing, demonstration and practice, we drive into the forests and mountains of Mid Wales to negotiate a newly defined route of ascents, descents and narrow trails - our instructors on hand at every stage. This event will provide a varied and exciting introduction to the world of off-roading whilst ensuring that you and your Jeep return unscathed and full of confidence.
Lake Vyrnwy Hotel is a Victorian country house with panoramic views of the Berwyn Mountains, set against the backdrop of Snowdonia. It is a real country lover's paradise where peace and tranquility abound. Other activities available in the area include archery, clay shooting, walking - with mapped nature trails, bird watching, and golf. Why not stay in the area a little longer?

Cost
The cost of this exclusive event is £190 per person incl. VAT based on two people sharing a car. This includes the use of off-road wheels and tyres, lunch on both days, supper on Friday, dinner on Saturday evening, and instruction. Accommodation is not included in this price. Single person £275
