Lake Vyrnwy - Mid Wales

"Once again it was a great weekend, with a great bunch of jeep owners, all dying to see what their Jeep can do, and we weren't disappointed!! a bit dirty but not disappointed. The Lake Vyrnwy hotel and area is just such a beauty-full area to visit and drive off-road, everybody "gelled" so well. It is great to see what the Jeep can really do off-road, and the tracks we went on allowed me to try out my new Jeep with out any damage at all. I have to say I was a bit nervous trying out my new Grand Cherokee, but very quickly I settled into the off-roading, and had a ball!" Alan & Maria

"Thank you very much for organising such an enjoyable weekend at Lake Vyrnwy. Jenny and I have enjoyed all the Jeep events that we have attended but this was definitely the best both for enjoyment and skills acquired.

The courses were varied and quite challenging. I use my Jeep a lot on farm land and rutted tracks. It was really useful to me to appreciate just how far I could push my vehicle before getting stuck or "cross axled". I often abandon my Jeep and use a tractor to reach my patients over conditions that I now know the Jeep would have conquered.

I was also very grateful for the encouragement you gave to Jenny and other second drivers to take the wheel and have a go at quite difficult obstacles. It is all about confidence and sometimes momentum!

It was really good to have such a clean vehicle to take home. You must all have been exhausted after changing 40 wheels and washing off all that mud while we were enjoying our lunch. I am sure that your efforts were very well appreciated by everyone.
